Are you looking for adverse reactions to all drugs or just some specifics?

Also depends if you are getting a PDA that you can change out memory cards, etc. If you can post some more specifics, I can steer you in the right direction.....

Just thought I would say hi...my parents lived in West Bloomfield, I lived down the road a bit in Pontiac. I also grew up in Warren. I am currently more in MidMichigan. Small world...anyhow nice to meet you. :)

:) To answer your question i was thinking more along the line of any drugs because i am going to be working in a hospital and it would be nice to know. I want to not have to change the memory on it and also i want one that is colored and i was looking it up on the internet and the one they said that was the best one for nurses is the Zine 74 it has great memory and it is colored and has a camera hooked up to it. So if you have any suggestions i would love to hear them . Thanks again in advance.

Hey.. Michigan here too.. Grew up in Farmington hills and now live in the "thumb". As for a palm pilot. I have a Sony Clie. I love it. I have used the free version of epocrates for my drug information which is good. Free version lasts 1 year I think. Now I am using Mosby's Nursing drug reference. I don't like it quite as well as epocrates, but it does the job. It's cost is around $50. You can also download tons of freebies like an ABG decoder (cuz I never really understood them), an ACLS study thing, drip calculators, etc. I also have Tabers' which I love and 5 min emergency consult. also good.. those too, run around $50 or $60. There are applications for every specialty known to medicine. And of course there are games. I like to do a crossword on my palm or play solitaire on my break. It just totally removes me from the stress of the day and isn't taxing at all to the brain... welll the crossword can be...lol... anyway.. if I can be of anymore help let me know.. hope this gives you a start. Oh and by the way, my model has a digital camera in it, and at first I was mad because I thought I was paying for something I didn't need..... well... I was wrong.. I can't tell you how often I use it... it comes in handy all the time... not so much at work but other times and since I keep it in my purse it's always there. It's a good idea to get one that has the ability to have a memory stick or card in it so the large medical applications can be stored on that and not on the internal memory. Most new models have that capability.
