Here in Alberta we're all still waiting for results. It kills me that they've been marked and sent to their respective provincial orginizations....but I can't get at the results! ARG!

Question - I took mine today. I was positive I had missed 75 of the 85 questions!!!!! The computer shut down at 85. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? My understanding was that if I was doing bad, i would get more questions to give me a chance to redeem myself, right???
Has anyone failed if it shut down at 85?
I am a worry wart and just cant seem to wait 48 hours, i would like some unofficial reassurance!!! lol
If anyone has their 2 cents to share I will greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
I am asumming you mean the NCLEX. No it does not mean that you failed. My sister's shut off at 75 she felt the same way and she passed. I on the other hand got ALL 265 questions, was sure I would have to take it again, but I also passed. It varied for people in my class. Some shut off at 75, some at 100, some at 200. I think there was oly one person that did not pass in my class and that was because he worked the night before the exam and did not get a wink of sleep. If you truly are talking about the NCLEX, at least you will get your results in 3 days to a week. You can also go online pay a fee and get it sooner, I think, if it still works that way. Good luck and take a deep breath. I find that, in general, you know more that you think you do. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
By the way, thank you for all your replies...

Hi caroline , good for you that you pass your exam , i have a question , what books and soutces did you exactly study for CRNE ? plz let me know thanks
I know you didn't ask me, but I will add imput anyway :)
I used the official CRNE prep guide. it is pretty much the perfect prep guide. Some of the questions on the exam wore ALMOST word for word the same question...but twisted slightly so the answer would be different.
It will give you a 100% accurate look at what the test will look like, and how hard the questions are.
If I could give you any hint, it would be to study and know the questions in that book. Furthermore, study more on the subject of each question. The book not only gives you an idea of what the question look like, but it helps you know what topics they will ask you about.
I wish I could help in more detail...but I'm fearful of the confidentiality contract we sign :)
