I have an interview on Tuesday!

I've been working in HH for a little over a year now. The HH agency I work for is a total mess. Too many things wrong to even go into. This being my first experience in HH I didn't know what to expect or what was correct or incorrect as far as agencies are run.

I have an interview on Tuesday with a very well respected HH agency whose office is 2 miles from my home. They rarely have openings. I am excited about working for a well run agency, although I'm fully aware there is no perfect job. This HH agency pays mileage and cell phone expenses. They use PDA's for charting. They have a great reputation. I'm so psyched!

I dropped off my resume and the DON called me the next day and said "wow your resume is awesome, please come talk to me about coming to work".

Joanna, I'm so happy for you!! I know things have been really stressful for you lately..........maybe this will be the start of a big turnaround. I wish you the best of luck, both during your interview and beyond!:D

Wow!That sounds petty promising,I hope you get the job.

The interview went well, I was very impressed with the office. Unlike the agency I now work for this agency pays for charting time at home, gas mileage, overtime for after 5pm, weekends and holidays. Call every 5-6 wks pays very well. I would be expected to work 4 days during the week for 6 hours each day and spend a couple of hours charting at home. I did tell her I have problems driving at night due to my deteriorating cornea's. She said very little chance I'd ever have to take the interstate at night while on call because the patients are all local and the farther away patients are covered by the other satellite offices nurses who also take call. I hope I didn't jinx myself but I felt I had to be up front and honest. She said she had one other RN to interview and would get back to me (tomorrow) on Friday. If it's meant to be I'll get it. I hope so!

Wow!! I hope you get it!!

Did you ever get the job?
