I failed my NCLEX

Hi,

I graduated nursing school a couple of years ago and have failed my NCLEX a few times. At this point...I don't have much confidence that I can pass. The first time I took it, i took Kaplan and second time I took Hurst Review. I do have major test anxiety, but I think there's more to it than that. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone struggled a few times and then found something that helped them pass? I'd take any recommendation and ideas on what I should do in order to succeed.

thank you in advance,

Where is the NCLEX forum? Can you give e me a link, please?

Hi,

I failed the Nclex twice (365 questions) but passed the third time (79 questions). I decided to stick to UWorld for 5 weeks. I didn't touch any other study materials. I completed all their questions, which I've done by system (cardio, gastro, resp..ect).

That method helped me remember important subjects because some of them came up several times. Once I had 500 questions left I did random questions just like the real test.

I hope this help. Let me know if you have more questions. Focus on one source to study.

I did Kaplan with my school and I thought I was good for the NCLEX but I failed the first time. I then signed up for Hurst Review online and in person, I just took it today and I am waiting to hear if I passed the second time. I did the PVT and it gave me the POP up, and I am holding my breath to see if I passed. Hope that helps.

Good luck on your second try. I hope you pass.

Stay positive and study hard, pray also because God has a plan for you.

Don't give up!!! I know it is not easy, but you can do it. Please let me know when you pass!!!!

Happy Holidays and Gob bless !!!!!!

I failed Nov. 16, 2016. I am almost died I studied and prayed so hard. I failed I think mostly from mental fatigue. I studied 8 hours a day for week even the day before. My results came back in all areas as Near Passing. I'm waiting for my ATT now. I really like Uworld and I plan on using them again. Also I'm only spending 4-5 hrs. a day to study not the 8 hrs. I did previously. Good luck and God Bless I really think UWorld is the best.

I've been reading a lot of people's study plans and it seems a lot of people are using uworld. Thanks for the recommendation. I think I'll try it out. Good luck on your next try as well.

hi!! we have similar stories, i failed on nov 15th, 2016, and I studied and prayed so hard as well, i studied 8 hours a day for a straight month.

I am going in for my 2nd attempt in exactly 1 week. Have you taken your nclex yet or when do you plan to take it? How did you switch up your studying this time around?

I passed. I found out 3 days before Christmas.
