So, I just knew that I failed. I cried so hard. But I just realized, that I need to start off and try again. I can do this! Can anyone share any tips or references? I don't wanna try fail on my 2nd try.

I did a kaplan review course. They cost a couple hundred but it was a HUGE help. I passed in 75 questions in under 30 min.
Are you SURE you failed? Alot of people, myself included, feel like they fail on the way out of the door. Try to re-register and if it allows you to pay for it then you probably did fail. If it says any sort of error message you passed.

How has kaplan helped you with the exam? Is it with the strategies?

Babykulit I'm so sorry to hear that:( Dont let anything stop you and remember everything happens for a reason! Maryann hogan is a great resource! I thought it was the best! Once you order the book you get access to the online portion. I wish you much success!

So sorry, babyk
I can certainly imagine how disheartened you must feel.
Be strong and know that we will be here for you as you go on to study for the 2nd and last time you test. You can do it. I know several great nurses who didn't pass the first time. Don't let this discourage you.

I'm so sorry Babykulit. I also know nurses that failed the test the first time around. The good news is you know what to expect the next time. Maybe you need to use different study materials? What did you use last time and how do you feel about them now that you have had NCLEX experience?

I have been following your threads.. Dont give up. I have been in the same shoe you are in at the moment. I am preparing to take my nclex the second and last time. Take a break, and relax. I know it's hard.. People will tell you to try this and this.. but you do what is best for you. Now that you seen, taken the exam, you know what to expect the next time you take, How i wish you could take it before April, because in April, it gets harder as the new law will be implemented according to the NCSBN. At this moment, do questions, questions, questions, few content 3 weeks to your schedule exam. I know is hard to pick up and start again. Feeling mad when you hear people " ohh, i got the good pop up" ok.. ANYHOW.. boo, just do questions, the more you do questions, the more u get in the mode of doing it and pass the nclex. That what help me with my last semester in nursing school.
At the moment, I am using saunders for SATA, NCLEX 3500, Kaplan.. ( their strategies for me, not really helpful), though i score 66% on the 265 questions at the end of the book. I was recommended the Virtual ATI, which is one-one tutor.. just started on it..
You can do it..NEVER GIVE UP.

Don't give up!
Thank you all so much for all the support. I read all your posts and it makes me more motivated to try again. Especially to Juls & LoveBSN who were always there to support me. i am now determined. I can do this!!! the strategy of Kaplan didnt help me. I got weak due to all those unfamiliar drugs! I need to dust off and start again. I hope you guys can still guide me on my journey to success (hopefully)
I wouldn't focus too much of your time on drugs. I only got 4 or 5 drug questions and most people I have seen on here got fewer than that or none at all. I think if I were you, I would practice SATAs and priority Qs along with whatever else you think you might have trouble with.
I will be checking here often to cheer you on, girl!
Hi julz68 do u have any more tips for me before I take nclex.
