May 9, 201115 yr I had an job interview with DON last week and she said it will be this week before she makes a hiring decision. Is it okay to call the nurse recruiter and ask her if she made a decision or should I wait? May 9, 201115 yr If she said it would be this week (Meaning Monday-Friday) before she makes a decision, I'd wait until Friday before calling.
May 9, 201115 yr I'd wait until Friday too. It's hard to wait, but wait and call friday morning if you haven't heard anything.
May 9, 201115 yr If you haven't already sent a thank you e-mail, send one and say you'll be calling her on friday to follow up. Then call. I've found if I don't have the job I get voice mail and they never call back. If I do have it, they call me back.
May 9, 201115 yr If you haven't already sent a thank you e-mail, send one and say you'll be calling her on friday to follow up.E-mail??? Try an actual thank you card. Something tangible... something that doesn't get lost in cyber-space.Much better to have something physical they have to look at. Harder to get rid of than a simple mouse click to delete. You just might make a lasting impression since they have your name in-hand, not a reference in an e-mail.
May 9, 201115 yr Email to make sure they get it quick. AND a small thank you card in the mail. In this market, go all out.
