Hypothetical question

Worked with a colleague last night who was also wearing a Holter monitor for 24h test.

Just curious:

If the nurse had had a code and had to defibrillate a patient, would there have been a problem from wearing the Holter while defibbing the patient?

It would depend on how snugly the monitor fit against her body and also if it restricted her arm movements.

:balloons:

The holter and the AED should not interfere with each other electronically anyway. The doctor might see some real interesting stuff on the recording when her adrenaline was pumping though.
