hurst or ncsbn?

Hey guys,

I would like to know which of these two reviews most people found helpful. Any comments is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I did Hurst and passed my NCLEX on the first try. I credit myself with that more than Hurst, but it was a good refresher.

NCSBN is harder and the questions are closer to NCLEX, in my opinion. $70 - 5 week online, cheap and on my schedule.

I liked Hurst a lot, but their questions aren't challenging enough and the review that I really needed was in the 5th day material (online), so the live review was merely a pep rally to get us motivated. It was a nice content review, but 5 times the cost.

I think a good content review book and 4,000 NCLEX questions would have been just as good. I went to a program that prepared me, our exams made NCLEX look easy. I would not spend a ton of money on books and reviews. I was terrified so I went overboard and it was a big mistake.

I did the hurst review and loved it. Passed the first time, so I recommend Hurst!

I am doing Hurst now and i love it too. Really good for content materials. Then you get to fill a worksheet and all. Really helpful in retaining info. Marlene just makes it really easy for us to understand specially Patho diseases.

Only thing that worries me is that Hurst doesn't cover everything...am I wrong on this?

Infos not covered on Hurst i supplement with Sauderns which is enough...More books tends to be confusing.
