after 48 hrs of misery

Hello again fellow bloggers!

Just want to share my happiness to everyone... i just found out today that i passed my NCLEX RN (1st take) after 75 questions, a box of tissue and 2 nights not able to sleep and not going out... finally i can call myself "Registered Nurse" :nurse:

For future NCLEX taker just be calm... i think that helped me a lot! Relax the day before your exam , go out but don't have so much fun though... Another advice... Study your infection control, medication A/R,

Read the questions accurately don't jump in to answer quickly...

Relax and take a deep breath when the questions a ppearing on your screen are getting on your nerves....

Also do not give up...Have faith in yourself and to God. Remember you're not the only one taking the NCLEX so if other people can do it tell yourself "I can do it too"...

Never ever give up! I myself almost give up my dreams of becoming a nurse... I migrated here in US from philippines 6 years ago and have to go to nursing school and to tell you honestly getting into nursing school here is almost as hard as passing the NCLEX ... I have to work 2 jobs and go to school fulltime to be able to pay for nursing school aside from that I have to adjust myself to a new education setting... i didn't get into nursing school of my choice (had a bad grade from A&P) and it took me a while to get into a program to a community college... and after couple of years here I am telling myself "You did it"

Thanks everyone and your time will come too! :redpinkhe

To bubbly 30:

i have about 5-5 SATA, 2 calculation, about 5 medications the rest prioritization and 1 delegation, and 3 infection control ... so lucky not to have those questions with graph and boxes lol.

our professor gave us 1 week review then I enrolled in kaplan (im not recommending it 100%, maybe just buy the book and c.d to praactice but don't take the class.. i think its a waste of time- my opinion u can ask other people if kaplan helps to pass NCLEX) I HAD SAUNDERS 4th ed. and lots of prayers :)

Goodluck kabayan!

Congrats!

You definitely did it! Congratulations...I hope I'll be joining your ranks pretty soon!

Good job, RN!!!

I'm happy for you, you deserve this..

congrats kabayan

I was wondering what day you actually took the test? I took mine on the 25th and still have no results but it was the weekend so I expected that! I'm sweating to death but my daughter's birthday took my mind off of it. Now I'm waiting and wondering and just dying! I had about 6 SATA questions and 2 Calculations, some delegating and prioitizing as well. Congratulations by the way! Its awesome!:yeah:

Congrats! I take my PN in Tuesday!
