How do you study for the NCLEX?

Hello there everyone, I have just finished up my precepting rotation and am going to graduate in May. How should I prepare for the NCLEX so that I pass it the first time.

Know your content and practice as many questions as possible. Also go over procedures like inserting a NG tube, inserting catheters, etc... Try to study the subjects that you are weak in the most. And last but not least PRAY!

Know your content, do MANY questions, and know your test-taking strategies to help pick the BEST answer.

Once you masted all 3, there is nothing you can't do! [:

I'm a very religious person, but I think this needs the Willie Wonka treatment. "Scratch that, reverse it."

Prayer shouldn't be regarded as a magic solution that saves you from bad decisions, and not studying for NCLEX would be a bad decision.

Pray if you like, but study a whole lot more.

I wrote a whole blog on what I used and study techniques , hope it helps!

Oh yeah, of course pray every day and every second you can. Put all your faith into God AND yourself but work hard to achieve in passing!
