Just wondering how soon after you graduated did you take the NCLEX? I'm not sure how long I should wait!

I studied for close to a month before taking NCLEX. I believe I graduated May 9th and Tested June 6th.

I graduated on Aug 7, got my ATT on Sept 2, and took NCLEX on Sept 12 (chose not to test on 9/11 for superstitious reasons). So, 5 weeks from graduation to test. I passed at 75 questions in under an hr.

I graduated May 13 and tested September 7. I probably would have taken it in August if my ATT hadn't got lost and had to be resent. One thing that I heard from a lot of new graduates was that they wish they would've took a break instead of going straight to work (I was also beyond nervous.) So I just sorta relaxed the whole summer and binged studied 2 weeks before my NCLEX. Not a good idea but it worked out in my case.

I tested about a month after graduation, it was as early as I was able to, I thought I would start forgetting stuff.

I graduated from my ASN program on 04/16/2010, had a few knock-downs/drag-outs with the BON for about a month, and was finally able to test on 06/16/2010. I didn't start studying until I received that ATT, which was about 3-4 weeks prior to testing.
