How much is your pay?

I'm just curious...

Salaries varies from state to state, as well as the years of experience, and the area of specialty, right? How much is your pay per month? :heartbeat :nurse: :heartbeat

$ 32.50 base pay. OR Circulator days, no weekends, no call, no holidays. North Texas. 17 years as RN.:yeah:

I am looking for a tool to assess acuity of pts to make staffing assignments more appropriate. I am in the process of devising a system but am wondering if there is anything out there already being used. Thanks for any input.

Capt in the USAF w/ 6yrs time in service living in the DC area I make about $7322 a month which only about 4700 is taxable.....not too bad, but I certainly don't get overtime pay...lol.

I'm a 15 year RN working as an ADON and MDS coordinator in a long term care facility. My hourly wage here in Maine is 23.30/hr.

But Sat, Sun, Mon will still give her a Friday night free to spend out on the town with family or friends. Dang, that is good pay though! This thread has made me sooo depressed! My pay sucks!

:twocents:

Remember the cost of living in Kentucky may be very low compared to the states here - the northeast/west coast - the cost of living has to be accounted for in the pay.

Is your pay rate what all other RNs are making in your area? I would look around - recently I went for a job interview at a diff facility - and they offered me 10.00 more an hour if I went 'perdiem' and that was day shift.

Look around - and see if you can get more $$$ ....:nurse:

Been an RN for just over a year. Live in Ohio, make 21.87hr plus my 3.00 shift diff and 4.00 hr weekend shift diff. Cost of living not too bad here. Shoot with all the pays i've seen maybe i should move lol.

:lol2:

Thanks to all who didn't mind giving their info out.

Im in MO base is 29.80, eve, noc, and w/e diff on top of base

I work 7a-7p. I make $25.50 til 3pm then $27.50 from 3p-7p. Usually, I work weekends, too and that is another $2 an hour. This is with benefits in Bradenton, Fl. and I have 5.5 years experience. There are hospitals around here that make alittle less for my experience. My hospital pays $38 an hour for float pool/prn which I'm going to transition to.

We don't work with each other, so fess up. In order to know the possibilities out there, we need to be informed.

I make 28.91/hr as a nurse educator. This part of NC does not pay well. I made around 33/hr in AK. (16 yrs experience). I think I should be paid more, of course.:twocents:

I make around $50/hr plus differential. We get 4 weeks vacation and I don't know how many sick days. Benefits are great. I work in Boston but live in RI where the cost of living is lower.

Live in NH. 10 yrs med/surg experience. I make $31.50/hr. $11 more/hr any shift I pick up above my 32 hr/wk. We have a $5 night dif., 2.25 evening dif., 1.50 weekend dif.

I think new grads make about $20/hr.

I love my hospital and my team, decent nurse/pt ratio. I could easily be making over $40/hr if I worked 40 min south in Boston... I might consider that when kids start college!:uhoh3:
