Columbus Ohio, I believe they start the ER techs out at 10.01 an hour. I already worked for the hospital in a different position making more money, so they allowed me to keep that amount. They pay an extra .85/hr for weekends and an extra $2 for night diff.

Litchfield County Connecticut. No acute care experience, came from a 6 month stint in a Nursing Home. Hospital trained in phleb and 12 lead EKGS's. If you work in the ED as a tech you can do a bit more (take out IV's/Foleys ect., but its a bit of a gray area. Base pay $15 per hour. 2nd shift $2.00 per hour differential. 3rd shift $5.00 per hour. Additional weekend differential is $5.00 per hour on top of shift diff. I work on a small 7 bed unit and also perform unit secretaries responsibilities (answering phones, entering doctors orders, putting in dept requisitions), though this is specific to only this unit. Love it so far.

Tampa, FL, $9.65/hour-day shift 20%differential night shift

Yikes! Just when I thought of moving back to my hometown.

Parkersburg, WV $8.10 plus .90 shift differential for nights, but I LOVE my job.

Springfield, Mass 16.50 for PCT in the hospital. That doesn't include the evening, night, weekend, holiday differentials. Forgot to add I have experience. Not sure what they offer no experience, they generally don't hire anyone without experience at Baystate Medical Center for PCTs.

Central Texas critical care Tech (PCT specific to CCU) I currently make $12.72 an hr base with $2.00 more/hr on weekends and $1.00 more after 3pm 7 days a week. But I have been doing this for 8 1/2 years and I had prior experience. When I first started the base was $8.00 with experience I got a whole $0.10 more. Now I believe the new techs are making $10.00 an hr base.

Southeast TN- $10 (start in hosp), $11 for Prn, $13 for Prn Float Pool *which I am*

I work for NYU Langone Medical Center and get $20.00 an hour, I also had extensive experience before starting with the facility. I have a solid 5 yrs experience in gastroenterology, love the field and hope to continue in it once I get my nursing degree!!

$12 an hour plus shift differential

I made $10.50 as a CNA in a nursing home when I was living in Minnesota. I am fairly certain they make about the same amount here in Maine, but my CNA certification didn't transfer back here.

San Antonio, one hospital as a PCA $11.30/hr. No experience. Another hospital system is $9.50 as PCA/Nurse Extern.
