I am from Canada and our accelerated BSN programs are 2 years. Sometimes they are 2 consecutive years (no break) and other times there may be like one 3 month break (so 18 months total). I am just curious how long they are in the states because I heard they are only a year long?
THanks!

12 months to 18 months continuous. Mine was 15 months with 2 weeks off between fall/spring semester, 1 week off between spring/summer and summer/fall. There were 2 sessions during summer, each 8 weeks long (no break between sessions).
It started first week of May and ended the following first week of August. Fall and Spring semesters were normal semesters. The 2 Summer semesters were each two 8 week sessions where semester long classes were condensed into 8 weeks.

I've seen 12-14 months. I would NEVER do something like unless absolutely have to. A friend of mine did that and she barely had time to sleep. I hear the are super intense! Worth it? Depends on your idea of worth. Yes, you'll get the degree but to what end? Good luck!
