How do you even begin to study for the FINAL??

My Final is next week and I am at a loss of how to study for this test. How do you study for a test that covers approx 3500 pages of information. Our exams unfortunately did not test us on the most important, 'standout' parts of the chapters. Many of the tests had questions on them that seemed to be plucked from obscurity (maybe our school uses the textbook test banks and thats why?) In any event, I dont know what to do. I want to do good on the Final. I HAVE to do good on the Final bc Im barely passing but Im not sure how to study for this test. Any advice? What is your strategy?

Hope this helps....First if the final is comprehensive there is no way to cram all that knowledge in a week. However, I did review the things that I know I missed on prior tests in the semester and I brushed up on the content that I was already familiar with. We had a mini question session with instructors before we took our final and they answered any content questions we had so that helped too. I don't usually do study groups, but as a review it proved to be helpful since i was familiar with the information already...Good luck!

I am studying by reviewing the PowerPoints we used for class. Like you said, there is no way you can review 3000+ pages. Our instructors made the PPT's with the most important info so perhaps that will be enough...
