I just looked at the calendar, realized it is March, and counted out the days... I have less than 2 weeks left until I am done with my last clinical for FNP school! I swear there was a time when I was sure I was never going to be close to being done but now it is right around the corner! So excited and ready for final program commencement, and some serious study time for the board exam. 2 more weeks and I can breathe again, a little bit.
Who else is in the home stretch? I am equal parts anxious and relieved!

That's awesome. You must feel great coming to the end of such an arduous journey. I can only imagine what a big relief it is being so close to finishing.

I couldn't have said it better! Nervous and excited all in one! I'm in home stretch myself graduate in May , done with clinicals in April . That's the exciting part. Every time I think about life after , boards and jobs search I'm nervous... Congrats on making it through your program and best of luck on boards!
Thanks and good luck to you all in your programs!

I have a another year left but it's always a breath of fresh air to read posts about others being nearly done. It gives hope to those like me who it seems like a year will never get here fast enough.
All the best and prayerfully this time next year I'll be posting the same thing.
Congrats Cardiac-RN. I'm sure it feels great to be done with clinicals. Do you have a job lined up?

I am graduating this Spring 2014 but I don't consider it a home stretch. Preparing and passing the certification exam is my home stretch. :)

So close! This last semester has been the hardest ever. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Graduation in May, board review, then hopefully AANP in June. It's exciting and scary, so much more so than I remember from RN school. We can do it!!!
Zmansc, have a job offer from a clinical site pending board examination, but haven't comitted yet. Just in the past few weeks I have really started to get the resume out/ networking with contacts etc. to see what other positions are out there that might be a good fit. I had thought about waiting until after boards to start looking, but then I heard that there were students in my class already interviewing and contemplating potential offers (contingent upon certification of course) and decided it was better to get myself out there before all the good jobs are snapped up.
