Hello i,m new to this sight too.I,m interested in becoming a l.p.n and maybe go on to be a r.n. I feel like i,m too old to start another career.I am in my early 40,s and have 3 kids, What do ya,ll think

sportsmom. . .my mother went to LVN school when she was 51 and went on to work as an LVN in the ICU/CCU until she was 68. Age has nothing to do with your ability to do the job unless it is physically restricting you. You will find that nursing is one of the only fields where there is no age discrimination.
