Here comes the bride...

I wanted to let all of my Oklahoma Allnurses friends know that I'm getting married!!!!! Yes, I met the love of my life 3 months ago through a friend from school. We're getting married in 6 months - October 20!!!! During that time, I'm still working full-time, taking physiology this summer, and have an 8 week bridge class this fall that will be done the first week of October. Oh, and I'm also studying for 2 clep tests to cut out some of my bridge classes. Sounds like fun, huh? I originally just wanted to elope but then all my little girl dreams of walking down the aisle in a pretty dress started coming back.

Where are you taking physiology? I just took my last regular semester test today and I have my final a week from today.

ps the reason I am asking about your physiology class, I made SUPER notes (if I do say so myself), taped all the lectures, transcribed with the powerpoints, most of them are in color and you are more than welcome to borrow them and depending on where you are taking the class, I may have some other stuff for you too. ( And I am proud to say that all of that slaving away was worth it - have a 98.9% in the class)

This looks like one hectic, exciting year for you. Remember to enjoy the time of your engagement, take time for both you and your fiance. Also enjoy the first year of marriage... that was one of the most wonderful times of my life.

When me and my husband met, we knew almost right away we were meant for each other and now here we are, married for 12 years with 2 kids and are still hot for each other!! ;)

Okay, the insanenous of all that I'm trying to accomplish has finally hit me! I'm almost off of orientation at work and had the busiest/most stressful day of work since I started as a nurse this past week. Then I came home to try to work on some wedding details. I had NO IDEA how many decisions there were to make! It seems like everybody I talk to has a different question for me that I haven't thought of! I bought one of those wedding planner/organizers but haven't even had time to look at it! Thanks for all the good wishes! Hope ya'll don't mind me destressing on here once in a while!
