Could swomebody help me please. I have been to get a Social security number to register with the borad of nursing in Texas and I was told I couldn't have one. How do I register and apply for the NCLEX and CGFNS if I don't have this number.

You do not need a SSN to register with CGFNS or with Texas. The application lists a space for it, but you only put it if you have it, if you do not, then you just leave it blank.
Texas actually requires the CES done by CGFNS, but not the exam.
You are not expected to have a SSN# until you have gone thru the immigration process and have actually arrived in the US, so none of the foreign nurses coming over have the SSN#. Everything can be done without it until you get here.
