Hi Lnzsay, use Saunders Compre to increase your content knowledge. The Q &A that goes with it is not even close to the real NCLEX but likewise helpful, I finished about 2000+ question on the CD. Unlike Saunders, Kaplan questions are highly critical thinking, almost always on the level of application and analysis which is what appeared in the the real NCLEX. La Charity is also very similar to NCLEX. These are the two that I highly recommend to you. I passed last June 8,2015 and stopped at 75. Kaplan and la charity really helped me a lot. Goodluck!

Hi ms.belladona i really appreciate your tips this is my first try I hope I will succeed like you. Finger crossed. I just want to know what kaplan book q and a book or online do I have to get. I have saunders comprehensive 5th edition is that okay to use? And what book of LaCharity should I get the delegation one? Thanks I dont know what materials to use pls help me. Thanks in advance congrats for passing!😊

Hi Lnzsay,

i just took my NCLEX this week and I studied Kaplan, Saunders and UWorld. My opinion is that you study Kaplan. The questions weren't identical but they were similar. I felt like Kaplan was the best thing to use because Sainders was too easy and the questions on UWorld were a lot harder than the test. Hope this helps.. Good Luck!

Thanks MDCRN15 for your great advice I have my saunders comprehensive edition 5 but lost the cd for q and a so I'm looking for a great Q and A that I can use that similar to the actual NCLEX.

Saunders fifth edition book will be just fine. Do every question on the CD and remediate by looking up the material you get wrong.

Kaplan Qbank... That's all I did to prepare... 50-100 questions, 5 days a week, 75 questions and passed... Just my two cents...

ddmad, what were your scores on kaplan?

Thanks strawberryluv i just want to know where can i get kaplan qbank question and how much it will cost me? Thanks again

KAPLAN all the way. I bought the Kaplan 1300 Qbank for $49 and it was so worth it because I passed my NCLEX RN today!!! I would also suggest ATI website if you have the free access from school. Over all Kaplan is the best!

Hi ravenmichael00 thanks for reply but im confused somebody told me that i should get the kaplan trainer because its a test like actual nclex rather than Qbank because its more like a quizzes. Im confused between the two. Help

Hi again Lnzsay, Saunders is good for a start. Try to answer a thousand questions from the CD, you'll find it easier as you go on. Then shift to Kaplan, q&a are available online. There's no Kaplan q&a book. Answer and master the style in la charity, I used 2nd edition. The third edition is out but there's not much difference so either of the two is ok. A lot of prioritization and delegation came out on mine as well as drugs esp psych drugs so study the common drugs in psych esp the side effects. With Saunders, Kaplan and La Charity i bet you'll gonna make it just like me. Read the rationale and study on how you should attack each question. Bear in mind, NCLEX is critical thinking and not just knowledge based. Also read the Saunders Strategies. Goodluck...
