Welcome to Allnurses. I'm sorry to hear about your NCLEX troubles. Read the "stickey's" on the top of this forum, there's some hints there. Good luck.

hi tik-tak:
Most of the people on this site swear by Saunders. So look among your books and pick this one (if you have it) and then follow Suzannes study plan because i have seen where it helped so many. Good luckto you.

You will find on top of this forum a sticky that says "My first tip of my new study guide." You have to follow that tip first, and then PM Suzanne your email address and she will send you her plan via email. Good luck in studying!

There is a company called ATI, their website is http://www.atitesting.com. They have a book and dvd series. I am only in my second semester, but the dvds are great. I can watch them while exercising, lying in bed etc. There is about 28 hours of lecture style video on the dvds.
I also have a set of audio cds by http://www.medspub.com, they basically cover the same info. Anyway, for me being able to listen to the information in my spare time has been great.
Anyway, though this info. might help.
By the way, the ATI books are for sale on ebay a lot.
Let me know if you need any more information.

Have you tried Kaplan review course or books? I found them to be very helpful to me. Good Luck and don't give up!

Kaplan all the way. Sorry to hear about your NCLEX experiences. I took the test one time and passed with 75 questions and I could not have done it without Kaplan. I would suggest putting all of your books back on the shelves, so you don't get overloaded and enroll in a Kaplan course. It will be well worth your time and money. Not only did I pass, I was very confident. I am generally a poor test taker and test anxiety is normally excessive for me, but after Kaplan, there was no way I could have choked. Best wishes. Don't lose your confidence, you KNOW the info, you will pass! :monkeydance:
