Help! Interview Questions

It seems like no one ever leaves at least not often. I interviewed in 2015 and they've only hired 2 nurses since. We have 14 nursing positions in the district.

Not sure of your location, but check your neighboring districts also. I have 4-5 different districts within a 20 minute drive.

That's what my husband says to do. But it would be awesome to be able to work at the same district I live in and my kids go to school there! Also my husband works for this district as well!

If this one doesn't work out, though, you should definitely look into the surrounding districts. I tried on three occasions for several different openings at the district my husband worked at and where my daughter would attend. I'm honestly still baffled as to why I wasn't ever seriously considered (especially that third time when I had a year's experience as a school nurse). It works out okay, because I got a job at a nearby district, and now that I have two years under my belt along with my acute care pedi experience, I'm a major contender for some positions at larger, more nursing supportive districts.

Yes I just seen there was another school district with multiple openings. I didn't know if I should apply or not. They were just posted. It's not a teacher contract so it's only 9months pay. The district is also about 35-40 mins away where as this job is 10 mins if that!

It's been one week as of tomorrow. Tomorrow they are holding 2nd set of interviews. Then they are taking a week to make the final decision. I can't wait to know if I did or didn't.
