Are you sure you failed, did you get any pop up at all? Wait for official results and then set a new study program. Look at how you studied before and see what may work better for you the next time.

OMG mosaicism, just saw this thread after replying! I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT.. but former posts on here indicate you CAN still pass without a pop up!! Even if you did not, chin up high, you know you survived through the school years and CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am also about to the take the examination for the first time this october and to be honest I am not confident enough to be able to pass the exam, I have a 1 year old baby who i take care of 24/7, and I graduated from nursing school 3 years ago. I've been trying to study and study, but it seems like its not sinking in into my brain cells.. Worst thing is that, people around me expect me to pass.. This is really frustrating..

By the way, I am an internationl graduate from the Philippines, and now living her in the US. And i took our local board exam exam twice too..

There is still Hope, Pray to GOD, and ask him that you really need this licensure.

i recently created a thread with the title "i took the nclex without reviewing". i got several harsh comments (i'm insane etc), but the truth is, i am also an international graduate and i actually graduated 3 years ago. i took my local boards and passed the first time. i had gone through many things from moving and residing here in the since then US. my husband lost his job, became alcoholic, my dad who is also an alcoholic got sick, ondoy struck my family, etc. i wanted to study, but i had a lot of things going. i know people will say that i was just being lazy, but nope. to be able to put food on our table, i commute 4 hours going to work and going back home. (don't ask me why-it's hard to find decent job right now) by the time i get home, i had to clean the house which my husband has messed up while drinking. i am always PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY tired i could not study. the fact that all my siblings took the NCLEX, had 75 questions and passed it the first time, all my relatives are either RNs and MDs, that actually scared me. i was too scared to fail. i have long been delaying taking my NCLEX until my brother told me that by not taking it, is like failing the test itself. what i did was i took my exam recently without reviewing. i have not gotten the official result, but the pearsonvue trick tells me that i did not pass and i am not happy, but you know what? at least i conquered my fear of failing. i was able to gauge my knowledge and now, i am ready to pass my second take=) don't be scared if THEY all passed. don't think about what they will think about you. this is YOUR test, not theirs. next time you take the exam, don't let them know. just do what you need to do at YOUR PACE. goodluck in your future endeavors!

I would say to wait till the official results come... that is the only way of truly knowing if you passed or failed. No matter what the outcome is try to remain positive.... If you survived nursing school you will get through the nclex!!!!!!

thats what im planning to do - to not tell anyone except my brother who will be taking me to pearsonvue. For the last 2 exams had almost everybody told me that I should pass coz everyone had took the exams just once. And i feel the pressure. I will take the nclex after 45 days.

ok ive been there so i know how it feels... dont study yet! be sad for a while..do whatever that can ease the "pain". but after that! STUDY AGAIN! that's what im doin right now. and always go to this website to check for updates!!!! if you want to do KAPLAN and have enough content review..just do ONLINE.(to save you money) qbanks everyday.. i cant really say yet that kaplan have helped me because i havent taken the exam(2nd time) yet. ill let you know..if you want. we have same issues... i got good grades in college..and pressure with family..coz both of my parents are nurses. so it sucks.

and just pray. when i feel really down.. i just pray. talk to God. or if you dont want to do that.. do whatever you want. but get back up there and study!!!

i'm in the same situation.. i'm an international student. i took the nclex twice.. i took it a third time just last week and had no good pop up:( my brother took it a second time n he passed..it's so devastating.. my family expects so much from me n i feel like i let them down again..ugh.. but everything happens for a reason, right? and whats done is done.. we need to look ahead n keep trying... we just need to try a little harder... if we want to get somewhere, we need to get up n start moving.. God bless u.. n this time around, we'll get it..
