Help, I can't read all posts.

Published

Could someone tell me how I can read all posts and threads?? when I click on a forum header all that comes up is the forum name and moderators, i'm new to this and cannot figure it out.

I've tried tweaking setting in the options but to no avail. Thanks in advance, Monica

Have you tried clicking on the title of the threads????

the page just loads the same, with the header & moderator names, no posts or threads, and I KNOW that these forums have posts & threads in them. i'm stumped.

I've emailed allnurses but have heard nothing yet.

I have to think of a subject and then search, or I can read the new posts, but cannot view the entire forums previous posts. Monica

thanks for the advice,but... that board claims to not have had any posts in the past 365 days..

You seem to be reading THIS one ok. Try to use the forum jump at the bottom of this (and every) page.

You should be able to get to whatever forum you want then click on the thread you want to read and to reply at the bottom of the last post there is a "post reply" button.

Thankyou for responding.

I can read THIS okay because I have email notification on so I have the link sent to me.

I go to the jump to box click on the forum I am into, but the page doesn't load with any posts or threads. so there isn't anything to click on to read or post a reply to.

oh well.

thanks again.

if you are using internet explorer there is a feature called the links bar. enable it and drag one of the forums to it......

i have the general forum for mine. https://allnurses.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=8

from there you should be able to use the jump bar to change forums.

as an alternative you could set the main page

https://allnurses.com/

and then go to the click here for all nursing discussions

If you are using a firewall and or a virus protection software program, you may need to adjust your settings. I've had similar problems. I went into my Norton Internet security program, set up some new rules, and have been able to do what I wanted to do since.

Just a suggestion.
