Help CEU

Hi guys! I was wondering if it is possible to take a test to complete CEU requirements? I am a dialysis nurse and one of my techs takes a test to renew her CEUs and there are nursing ones too. This is the site she uses https://www.andersonce.com/Catalog/Nursing-Continuing-Education-Courses .

I never heard that it was possible to renew CEUs taking a test so I was just curious if anyone has?

This site seems to me to be more than just "taking a test," although I haven't completed any of their offerings.  Similar to the other online CEU sites that I am familiar with in that you complete an online module, the take the test.

I never had to take CEUs before. I renewed my license this year, but didn't need to do CEUs since it was my first time. So I don't know much about CEUs. So, I was wondering if that site is an appropriate site for CEUs? Completing an online module and then a test.

It seems to be.  The main thing you need to be aware of is who has approved the CEU.  If it has been approved be a state board of nursing or ANCC you shouldn't have any issues.

There are several on line CEU providers that offer approved courses.  I have used CEUfast for the several of my most recent renewal cycles.  It is one fee for a year of unlimited CEUs.  If you timebit right you can get two renewal cycles for the one fee.

Best wishes.

I use AREP, it's free, no test, and meets standards of Fresenius and Davita, as well as for CNN/CDN
