Hi, my name is KC, and I'm getting ready to start nursing school. I'm 26 years old, and I have a bachelor's degree from UT. I finally decided what I want to do with my life, and I'm eager to get started. I'll be moving to Fort Worth, Texas in January, and I am trying to find a CNA program there so that I can work in the hospital environment while I attend nursing school. Does anyone know of a CNA program in Fort Worth?

KC,
We have several CNA's and nurses from DFW that frequent the Texas Forum, so that's where I moved your post. Good luck to you! Welcome to Allnurses.

I believe you can get a CNA at Tarrant County Community College or Dallas County. It's around $400-$500 at TCC.

There is a thread on here that deals with CNA programs in the Ft Worth area. I posted info on a program at Dunbar high school that is something like $140. Just do a search and you can get some info....good luck
