First off Hello! , yes, yes, good old nursing school, it can get tough, but it is possible. Whether or not you should work is solely your choice, you may be able to handle it or maybe not , only you know if you can! Pace youself and see what you can handle as far as study load, and study time! Best of luck to you, whatever you do!;)

Hello and welcome. Just take it one day at a time and do what's best for you and your family.

hi, nursepookie2010!

you can find information on financing your nursing education from your state board of nursing (you can find a link to it here from allnurses--go up to the "links" button at the top right of this page and click on "boards of nursing" to link into your state board of nursing website) as well as your state nurses association (you'll have to get that link from your state board of nursing or find it yourself). you will also find information on these websites:

Sorry about that. They must have removed it from their website. I'm surprised. It was a good link with some good information on it about how to become a nurse.

File a FAFSA and perhaps meet with the financial aid office at your college. Also, in regard to helping with childcare (if necessary) check to see if there may be a local agency that can help with that.
