Doll's eyes?

I think that's it. But wouldn't they go up to? his didn't.

No it isn't dolls eyes. Dolls eyes are a test for brain death. They roll the head and see if the eyes move side to side. If they do dolls eyes are +. That is good. If the head is moved side to side and the eyes stay neutral then Dolls eyes are negative. This is a sign of brain death.

I think the term you are looking for is a dysconjugate gaze. That is what our neuro NP calls it.

Thanks. After I thought about it, I didn't think it was doll's eyes. So if it is dysconjugate gaze, is that a sign of brain injury or could it be from sedation. The patient was on diprovan.
