accepted in any BSN program with a anything less than an A? Do we need the letter grade of A to even get considered?
What about volunteering? Where do you guys normally volunteer?

I know many people who have gotten into BSN programs with less than an A... sometimes less than a B! These programs look at more than grades. They want to know you are a good fit for their program. They look to see if your in a sport, sorority, etc. They know each student represents the program, they want nothing less than the best to shine bright for the program! Prerequisite grades almost don't matter. Except your sciences and perspective labs of course. They also look for growth! Many freshman blow it in their first semester and sometimes even the second. But the growth, and improvement is what gets them into a program later down the road.

I have classmates who were really good in school having really high marks, but in the first semester of nursing school, they failed. Like NurseMischa, BSN said some students does blow the first or second semester. What I would said is that if you get in a school, ask what is the passing mark for each class and do a schedule over summer (in August around) to balance school and break times (I would call it). Also, nursing school is not only passing theory classes, but also passing clinicals.
