Every one that has been following me can be as excited as me. Got word today that I have the OB job I have wanted. Manager at new facility called and then my hubbie called me at work to let me know it was mine pending physical and all that nonsense stuff. Can't believe it Can't wait to start OB which has been my dream, its why i wanted to be a nurse. :balloons: Gave word to my current NM and she then so stupidly asked if I still wanted to work casual said NO WAY :rotfl: (not to her though)

started OB right out of school 7 years ago..no regrets here! do NOT listen to naysayers who say new grads dont' belong in OB right out of school ....
we all have to start somewhere and starting in med-surg is NO easier. ENJOY THE RIDE....keep those eyes and ears wide open and be a SPONGE!!!!!!!!!!
good luck.

I am happy for you....where and when is the party? Have fun....Too many don't take that leap for what they went into nursing for. And to them I say:rotfl: . I love nursing, I am just sorry I didn't persue it sooner than I did....I stayed in a job for the money! SHame on me. Good luck in your baby world......
