Gtcc fall 2019

Hello. I am applying to Gtcc fall 2019 nursing program. Can anyone already in the program or those who have completed it tell me what to expect? I have heard their program is harder than any other schools. Also anyone who is applying, how many points are you all applying with? Does anyone know what a good point score is since they have now changed the ranking points?

I think in the old point system I would’ve had around from 48-50 not exactly sure. Hopefully our points are considered high.

Well the deadline was yesterday! Now we anxiously wait for a letter. Good luck y’all! I wonder how many applicants there were at the end...

We will get in. Try not to stress. They will start reviews next. 3-4 weeks we will know. No later than the 15th

I applied as well, just waiting for an answer.

Yes the wait is rough. I’m sure they started doing the reviews this week. How many points did you have? I wonder what the final number of applicants were

Moejoe44 good luck! How many points did you apply with? I feel like these four weeks are gonna pass by so slow!

I applied with 49 points.

That’s great. You will be fine

That is really good! I’m sure you’re in.

I applied to gtcc ADN program for the fall. I graduated from UNCG with a bachelors in biology, so I have all the pre-reqs done.. hoping this will help me with ranking. I got a 83 on the teas test and only had 24 points on the application for certain reasons, including not having any background in a “medical” setting. I have worked at an animal hospital the past 5 years. Hoping this is good enough to have a fresh start at a new career.

Great! Good luck! They definitely look strictly at points for seats in the program, but if you are tied with someone they will check who has the better teas score and other things like that so having gotten an 83 is really good! I also applied to Forsyth tech as a back up, so I should be getting back from both schools around the same time hopefully.

Good luck. I applied at Alamance as well for my backup
