GTCC Fall 2012 ADN Program Points and TEAS V Scores

I haven't taken my teas yet however I have 86 points. I'm not sure if i'm going to GTCC or UNCG though that's the only reason I haven't taken my teas yet, but I better make up my mind soon because the deadline is february 7th.

I have just completed my TEAS V and MAR for the GTCC 2012 Fall ADN Program and wanted to know what others have scored and their points. I am trying to get a feel for how competitive it is to get accepted. Also, if you have been accepted into the Fall 2011 Program, what were your points and TEAS V scores? It is going to be very nerve wracking waiting for letters to be mailed, so I thought we could be supportive of each other and get a feel for where we stand. Thanks to all who respond!

I have 71 points and I am taking the TEAS V this Monday.

I took Teas V and scored an 85.6%. My points are at 49.

The woman I talked to in admissions said that GTCC has been getting a lot of applicants for FALL 2012. She also said that I had a pretty good chance. I don't know if that means anything though really... *Crossing fingers!!*

Sounds like it is going to be pretty competitive! Some of you have some awesome points, and TEAS scores. I wonder how long it will be before they start sending letters. Has anyone been told when?

I heard they will mail out the denial or acceptance letters beginning to middle of March. Very nerve wracking! I have 50 pts. So hopefully that is enough to get me in the program for fall 12. Wishing everyone the best of luck! What has everyone else heard as far as the points they accept?

New to allnurses.com but, I just applied for Nursing School at GTCC and I am so anxious to find out what points are getting accepted! Just wondering how many have applied and what their point range was? That Tea's V was a butt Kicker for me! So anxious to get a letter! I am only working with 42 points I am currently taking Bio 166 so I applied without having those points! But, from what I hear I am not the only one who thought the new version of the Tea's was hard and less people are passing it then not, but than again everyone has something different to say about the nursing program!

Oh wow!! 71 and 86 points!? I didn't realize 86 points was even possible. haha. Congratulations on such high points everyone! I'm sitting on 46 points right now with a 68 on my Teas! I will probably end up retaking it for Forsyth since they count that more than GTCC I think? Good luck to us all!

A good girlfriend of mine who is now in her 2nd semester of nursing school at GTCC said she had 56 points and she got straight in. A lot of her class was alternates and the cut off for alternates was around 40 last year. Subject to change due to the Teas!

Hi all!

I have applied at DCCC, Forsyth, Surry, and GTCC. I am hoping to get an ok from one of them!! GTCC Mars was like 69

but only a 70 on the TEAS. I hate that test it is awful!! Keep me posted if yall get any news, I wish them letters would come on in!! I am in 166 now and abnormal psych at DCCC and it is hard! I usually do well and have a 4.0 GPA but that will not be the case after this semester. I am really struggling in anatomy this semester, it is a hybrid class. I wish you all much luck!! Maybe we will be classmates!
