Hi all,
I've started working with a kiddo with an infinity pump. The order says 190ml/hr.
Do I set 190ml/hr as the dose and rate? I'm confused.

You should be contacting your supervisor and your other resources. We cannot verify orders regarding your patient in an on-line platform. If you are confused on how to operate equipment you need to refer to your agency, orders, and your supervisor.

It's a pretty easy pump to use once you get used to it.

I had a patient on a pump
the dose was 100mls/hour over 8 hours.
The rate is the amount going in per hour. The dose is the total amount given over that time.
