I am studying to take the GRE in the beginning of March. I have the Kaplan 2015 review book. I am having a hard time with the math...in particular...the geometry(that's as far as I have gotten). I did NOT take Geometry in college(took Algebra I & II, plus Statistical Math). I took Geometry in high school(10th grade? maybe 11th?) So it's been about 12 years. I hated it then and still hate it(just don't understand it). Is there any other reviews that specifically reviews the Math?? Help please!

I feel your pain. I'm so lame I applied to grad schools that didn't require the GRE. Kahn Academy (on line) has some great math tutorials. Good luck!

I used this, and was very happy. It was inexpensive and far better for me than a book. My scores were nearly identical to their predictions.

How did you study with magoosh??I'm signed up but have no clue where to start
Its been a while but I went to the math modules and started doing the quizzes to see my areas of deficiency. I basically just kept practicing and taking notes on the equations as needed. As I recall the questions I didn't know how to solve had short explanations with sound. The staff were super nice so if you have more involved questions definitely email them. I really thought it was a great service.

I did the MAT exam instead and am happier for it :)
It wasn't easy and quizzed a lot of obscure knowledge but I had no essay to write, no geometry to do, and only studied for 4 weeks before the test. I got accepted to a good brick and mortar NP school 15 minutes from my house with my 60th percentile... So it worked out!
Thanks everyone! I actually am using Magoosh as well except on my phone and they have really good vocab quizzes. I will have to check it out for the math also. I am SO nervous about this test!! It's been a long time since I've done this kind of math. MAT is not an option for me unfortunately
Yeah. I'm dreading taking this exam. I just don't know where to start for the math.
I have multiple books to study. I am using Barron's Gre math workbook, GRE for dummies, and Kaplan's 2015 book. I am most nervous about the math, but am also studying vocab some. I also have Barron's GRE vocab flash cards. I planned to take it in march, but I am so busy Feb, that I am going to take the test in April instead.
