GPC Nursing Program - Fall 2015

Hello All,

I see that there is not a current thread for GPC. I just received an acceptance letter yesterday and I am ecstatic! I have applied to the program twice before and was denied, so imagine my surprise when I opened my mailbox. Can't wait to get started.

I was wondering if anyone else has received any news.

Thank you! I'm a little nervous. I will be leaving a 7 1/2 year career as a police officer to pursue nursing. I heard it was good program and I have been trying to get in for some time now.

Congratulations! I remember how extatic I was to get that letterí ½í¸Š I am in the program now, second semester, it's tough but you learn a lot, and fast! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them!

I did not buy the book and I don't think any of those that did where any more prepared going in! There will be an umpteen amount of books they tell you to buy and the truth is you will get by without most! At least I have!

I bought the book and never even read it lol I agree that they will tell you a ton of recommended books but I've only ever bought the required ones and I made out just fine! I did enjoy the boot camp though.

Bootcamp? How did you guys pay the 100$ showing receipt? Like do a money order?
