Got an Offer!

Hello SN community!

After always wanting to be in this specialty, I finally got an offer! I wanted to put out a “thank you” message for all that I was able to learn and read so far from all of you school nurses. I love knowing that I will have support in this site as I begin my new journey! Woohoo! Can’t wait til September! (Although I’m sure most of you can haha!)

xoxo

To each their own; I think you have been blessed beyond measure... ?

There are certainly other middle schools in my district that I would NOT want, so you are right on the blessed ?.

Congratulations!!

I’m in high school nursing. 8-12, and they are awesome. I’d go in and poke around some as soon as you can. See what’s in the filing cabinet, look on computer, get to know the teachers. You will do great. ?

Congratulations and welcome! I just finished my very first year (in a high school) after transitioning from the hospital and public health....if I can do it, so can you! It's a whole different planet of nursing, populated by some very lovable weirdos :)

Very good to hear! The transition is making me nervous but I started my certification classes and they have a lot of useful info so far!!
