Georgetown CNL Fall 2019

Published

Hey anyone applying to Georgetown CNL program for Fall 2019? Just submitted my application yesterday! How was the interview video for you guys?

Hey! I applied last month and thought the video interview was slightly awkward. Hoping admissions will take into consideration the entire application when reviewing. How about you?

Hi! I also applied last month, and I ran out of time (my words were cut off) during one of the questions for the video interview, so I also thought that it was awkward. Even though I completed the video interview on Jan. 7th, my application still says that I haven't submitted it. I emailed GU asking about it today, but they haven't emailed me back yet. Is anyone else having this issue?

I am not having that issue my application says submitted. The person I had been contacting (M. Cole) with any questions switched positions, so possibly try another email to receive an answer.

I kept laughing/ smiling in my video. I don't know how they will take that. When I get nervous I tend to smile. ?

@bellar100 my application says the same thing but they confirmed they received the video. It just won't say it on your application.

Did anyone apply anywhere else? Is Georgetown your top choice?

I applied to GW, U of Maryland and a few schools in Philadelphia. Georgetown is my top choice. Anyone have an idea of when decisions come out?

We should be hearing back in around 3 weeks or so. Last year they heard back around 3/8. I'm so excited guys. Even the thought of applying to nursing school is satisfying lol. We are almost there!

Same! I applied to UMD, GU, Johns Hopkins, and Drexel

Is there a way to check our application status? I'm able to check the status at UMD, and at least Hopkins sent me an email saying they received my application. Georgetown doesn't give any updates? It would certainly take some pressure off lol.

I haven't received any updates, nor have they mentioned when applicants would hear back. I am curious as to how many people typically apply, does anyone know?

I just emailed Dean Hamell and he said we should hear back between march 4th - march 8th. I'm not sure how many people applied but it seems like everyone is informed they are accepted around the same time, and the cohort is also around 150.

I went for an interview back in November and the Director of the program informed me that they never accept more than 35 students for the program. Staying hopeful for I have been accepted to one MSN program and waitlisted for a BSN program!
