Well, I took my boards today.... I'm not sure now if I was more panic stricken prior to or now! I got shut off at 75 ?s and gawd... some of them seemed so far out in space. I don't think that any amount of studying could have prepared me for that test... even the Kaplan stuff I learned didn't really seem to help. The ?s just didn't apply to any of the strategies... It's going to be a loooooooooong however long it takes here in Sunny, sweltering California. Congrats to those who've taken and passed... I pray I am among you soon! Why can't that stupid computer just tell you right then and there?????

Hello, i took the test on the 14th and am more nervous now than before the freakin thing. I got 75 questions and felt as though some questions were managable and others were educated guesses between two not so wonderful choices. I am absolutely terrified to find out the results. Which by the way will be tomorrow at 10:30 and to make it worse I am supposed to be at work. Waiting in Atlanta... Good Luck to you

The major reason that you are not told right away is that it is the responsibility of the BON to inform you. It is their choice on whether or not you can get early results, not left up to Pearson-Vue.
The reason that CA doesn't participate in this at all is that they do permit new grads to sit for the exam before they actually have received their final transcripts. The schools send a list into the BON in the final weeks listing the students that they anticipate will graduate.
Good luck with your exam............... :)
