Just got done with the NCLEX... 4 1/2 hours and 251 q's:cry: I know its possible i have passed but i feel so sick. I kept getting the same q's about infection control... and pharm, drugs i'd never heard of. Anyway i need some reassurance that others have passed with this many q's...
Still freaking out...

They say...the # of question has nothing to do with passing or failing. If the the majority of the questions you got correct were above the passing line than you passed. Passing questions are assessment and implementation type questions.
Thank u! I did have a lot of priority... Who would u see first? and What would u do first?. I did have a lot of easy ones at the end too.... Who knows, whats done is done> Thx for the responce. How did u do?

I took the NCLEX exam yesterday and the computer cut off at 75. I had a lot of SATA. infection control, one math problem, one drag and drop, 5 meds, 4 correct diet, 1 violation of confidentiality, 1 documentation, 1 cultural and a couple of prioritizing. I did the "trick" and it didn't allow me to re-register. Some of my classmates who took the test yesturday with me name and license number is posted on the BON. I checked and nothing for me. I'm holding on by a piece of thread. I just keep saying if, "GOD brings you to it, He will get you through it". I came this far so I just keep hoping the trick works for me.
I PASSED!!!!! So relieved!!!! Thx everyone for your responces and support! Now a new chapter begins!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations

First congrats.
I really, really believe that people should NOT panic when the number of questions starts going up....because you are STILL in the game.
Granted, the computer hasn't reached a passing decision when the number goes up...but you know you are getting near the passing standard b/c if you were doing that poorly on the test (for those of you that assume that if the number goes up, you are screwing up) the computer would have already shut off!!!!!
Take a break, a deep breath....and say to yourself, "I CAN do this!"
