Ours come in single dose vials, we draw them up into our safety syringes.
Well as you know do not try to recap the syringes. Do you have those darn red things to put the needle into? I do not recall what they are called but you can with one hand stick the needle into it they are made of a hard plastic sit flat on surfaces, then safely carry it to the sharps container.
i can't remember the name of the company that we get out flu shout from, but ours don't come with a needle. they come with a little plastic cap at the end. we just take the cap of and "screw" one of our needles on.
here's what we use, you can see the prefilled syringe at the bottom of the picture:

Haven't seen it, but I find it hard to believe. Is it like Lovenox where if you push down the plunger the cover shoots over the needle, maybe?
Last year we had the ones where we placed our own needle not this year.
This is almost old fashion small 3cc syringe with a 1 inch needle nothing else.
It just has the soft kinda cover like lovenox but no cover for the needle .

That's what I was gonna suggest. I don't remember the name of them either.

Can you believe that this years flu shots from merck HAVE NO SAFETY NEEDLE.
Im not sure if anyone has different ones were they work but my hospital got these little syringes with small 1" inch needle ( not long enough for big men)
a needle cover that is soft plastic (like lovenox covers) and no needle safety.
If I have to give the shot to bed 2 I have to walk by bed 1 and all there visitors before I get to a needle box to to get rid of my used needle. Talk about infection control issue .
