Yea 3rd term was fun!! Pediatrics kinda throws people a curve ball but I didn't find it too bad!! I also enjoyed OB more than I thought I would!! Which part of 3rd term are you looking forward to? Or both? Did you guys pick your schedules yet? Any known teachers yet?

I am excited about both!!! And yes we did pick our schedules we had orientation on the 14th, I have ***** for pharmacology ********* for health assessment and **** for techniques, clinical, and concepts. I will be at Memorial hospital...

We can't say names either! lol

Awesome!! Oh yea I forgot you have two orientations!! I had the same for pharm and assessment.. Both are awesome and two of my absolute favorite thus far!! I have not been to Memorial for clinicals before but heard good things!! So ya'll have another orientation that first day too right? We have to go and take our final dosage calc test that morning!! Don't stress just stay on top of it and you'll be fine!!

We only have one orientation, but on the first day of classes we have to go to a degree audit session... I also heard those two prof were good so I was stoked to get them the first term!!!

Oh thats nice!! We had our 2nd orientation the first day, which is where we met 4th term students and took our dosage tests and med term test... Enjoy the rest of your time off because you'll be missing it soon lol!!! Good luck!!

I still need the Davis Drug guide and the Cyclopedic Medical dictionary.

I am also meeting a guy to buy Pharmacology, Fundamentals, and nurses notes. He is a moving very slow though, so if someone has those, i'd be willing to buy their books.

thecamster21,

I have a question about 4th term. I am wondering how your schedule is during that semester. My family usually goes skiing in Feb. every year for a week and of course, I am missing it this year. So I am wondering if the schedule would be flexible enough next year, our 4th semester, for me to get away for a week in Feb. The package we get always starts on a Sunday and I won't return home until the following Saturday or Sunday. I had heard that they let you plan out your own clinicals, is that so? Would I be able to miss one test and take it at another time?

Future and first termers,

I noticed the other day that 2 of my 4 classes are already up on BB. It is my health assessment and concepts classes. Yikes, it is a lot of info to read! I think that it will have to wait until after I return from my trip to Virginia. :) Oh, I still haven't gotten my skills kit yet either! :( One thing at a time!! :) The fun begins ladies and gents!!

Bring it on!!

I am not sure how the schedule works exactly because I am entering 4th term in January! I know the clinicals where you do 7 over about 2 and half weeks isnt until after spring break, therefore classes and clinicals are like other terms until then with lots of tests.. It would all depend what week you went and how it worked out.. I dont think they would let you make up a test for that reason, but again I am unsure. You could wait and see when the tests are and go the week there isnt one..

Wow I guess it depends on what teachers you get! None of my classes are on BB and I have been checking FAITHFULLY everyday lol

thecamster21,

Thanks for trying to give me some info on the 4th semester. I guess I am just missing the skiing. We didn't get to go at the start of this year for money reasons. So I was hoping that 4th term would be flexible enough I could squeak it in next year, my 4th. I have a friend who is a semester ahead of me that would be able to let me know what it will be like. The package has set dates and usually has to be paid for by Jan. 1 for the Feb. trip. So with her ahead of me I will know if I could do it or not. Sigh..... just have to wait and see. :( My family has missed it two years in a row now and I was hoping next year that my two step-sons and their wives would go with us for a big family trip like when they were teens. So with that it is time to finish Christmas and then focus, focus, focus.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy and Successful New Year!

Future,

Don't worry, when you see it you won't want to see it! LOL Just a LOT of reading and links, this and that's....

Just have a stress free Christmas and pinch the little one for me! :) LOL Enjoy Christmas with her because before you know it she will be like my 7 year old asking every 5 minutes is it time yet?!!! Ahhhhh.

Merry Christmas!
