FCCJ Spring 2009

Hey all!

I was just trying to get in touch with anyone hoping to start the RN program at FCCJ in the Spring 2009 semester. Hopefully we can see what the points seem to be at or where they were for the Fall 2008 semester.

Look forward to talking!:nuke:

I am pretty sure they are accepting clay county as well...I know they do not accept from St. John's or Flagler...My friend lives in clay county and has not gotten a letter...I will ask the nursing dept. tomorrow when I am on campus just to make sure....

Maybe it doesn't apply until summer term because it wasn't effective until oct 2nd and we had to apply by oct 1st.

the only thing that my mom says i've gotten in the mail from the nursing dept. is a packet that describes every type of nursing program they have from the cna program to the bachelor's degree.

Okay, soooo I tried going to the office today but it was closed when I got out of class and before I went in. (Lunch I presume) and I tried calling but it is saying that my call cannot go through. I do not know the nursing office's direct number though. It used to be on their website but it is no longer there. But anyways, I do not think that the whole "duval and nassau" thing goes into play until the summer term, and even then, people are just going to find away around that (use other people's addresses and such). It is stupid that they took away Baker and Clay considering all we have is St. John's and it is not accredited. I know a lot of people in the program right now are in Clay County and while it may not be fair to some Duval country residents, I still would like a smart nurse that came from a competitive nursing program (not that it is not or would not be; it would just be less competitive). But oh well. I am just glad I got in when I did.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I received my acceptance packet today! Woo Hoo! I'm so excited! :yeah:Be on the look out for your packet.

hey, congratulations! i am stuck at work all day. does it say what the cutoff was? thanks.

no, it didn't say anything about the cut-off. from what i understand, only the denial letters let you know what the cut-off was. good luck! i hope you hear something soon.
