FCCJ Fall 2008

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

Anyone know if the i-clickers are in?

Everything is in. 39.86 total. :)

Has anyone else encountered a problem with fccj email? I can not access my email through artemis. Everytime I click on the link it just refreshes the page. Is the handbook through that or blackboard? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I emailed tech support but I am waiting on response.

Check your pop-up blocker. Allow "fccj.edu" for pop-ups.

Yep that's it. If you see Ms. Tookes first then she will give you the sheet to take with you to get the booklist. I think Ms. Tookes said it was up to the bookstore because technically the iclicker is "supplies" not books. I specified that I wanted the iclicker seperately but I have a feeling that it was all going to be included anyway.

she might be doing it diff now but after orient last week i went to the bookstore got a total including the giant box and the iclicker went to ms tookes got the form then went back to the bookstore and the lady sent the fax be prepared to wait that fax took just about 30 min

When you click the "student log in" and the page opens up for you to enter your username & password, don't sign in, but rather look at the bottom of that page for the "Connections" band & click that... it will then ask you for your un & pw & from there you can click the tab on the left "read email" or something of the nature.

Hope that helps... that is the only way I can get my emails.

when you guys figure out thepages for the handbook will you post about it cause im really confused

I've just emailed Miss Emily about the page numbering. I don't see any breaks in the information. I think they just numbered wrong.

Turn off your pop up blocker for your FCCJ e-mail...
