FCCJ Fall 2008

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

Okay... it's go time!

We need to coordinate our get together at Panera. I can't wait to meet all of you!

Average points? does the letter tell you what was the cut off average?

:ancong!: Let The Madness Begin!!!!!

Yea! Congrats! We're all happy for you. Hopefully we'll all have happy news today. And yes, please, tell us the cutoff!

The acceptance letters don't have the cut off. You'll have to find someone who got a denial letter, they have the cut off in them.

It does not state anything about the points or the cut-off. Nothing. Weird... I guess they're doing it different this term.

The orientation is now 2 days as opposed to 1 day, as it was previously. It will be on August 7th (Part 1) from 8:30-12:30 & August 25th (Part 2) same times as before.

The skills kit price went down apparently... it's now only $82... woo hoo!

I'm calling Northside Medical Clinic now to set up my appointment for the drug screening, etc.

Let me know as soon as y'all get your mail.

Omg! Congrats my day just got a little better hopefully we all get ours today! Goodluck everyone by the way how many points did you have?

OMG....I'm soooo happy for you!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!! lol....I guessed the right day..who knew??? I can't wait now!! Wish my mail would come a whole lot sooner than what it does.

I had 201 points... I've gone through this packet several times and still can't find mention of the points cut-off.

Wouldn't the Nursing Department just love it if I called to ask them that question?

There probably so sick of all the phone calls they get.

August 25th??? That's the first day of class for the Fall term. I wonder what you are going to do on that second day. When we had orientation we had lunch at 12 if I remember correctly and the only thing we did in the afternoon was the lottery for our schedule. HMMM.....
