FCCJ Fall '09???

i left a voice mail too, then called back the next day and spoke with Mrs James and she said she got my message. So i think you will be ok :)

So last Friday when I got my letter, had to have been one of the worse days of my life. DECLINED. I had a 190.68 and the cut off was around 190.72......talk about missing it by a hair.

3 days later, I got a phone call Tuesday morning which then became one of the BEST days of my life! Someone had dropped the program and I was so high up on the wait list that I snatched the next available spot :wink2:

See you guys Aug. 17th! And for those who just barely missed it like me, don't give up!

OK, so I went to the North Campus this morning to find out what is up. Of course I never made it past the receptionist. This is what I was told. Because there was so much mail that went out, receptionist said that anyone that hasn't heard anything by August 10th is to call CJ on or after that date and she will tell you your information over the phone. So that is as good as it gets for me and all of those who are still in the dark about our status.

I called and spoke to someone today. I received the same message. It is a waiting game again. Hopefully, my mailman will bring an answer today.

I can't send private messages yet. I haven't yet registered for SJCC. I was waiting for word from the professional establishment FCCJ. I wouldn't worry about retaking those classes. I haven't heard anything negative about SJCC. I have read the posts on here and the one's I have read have been positive. But, like you, I would like to know what their NCLEX pass rate is. If you want my email...I can give it to you. I live in St. Johns county 197 points. How many posts do I have to make before I can send private messages?

I started a new thread that focuses on what we need for orientation and the next upcoming weeks. It is under FCCJ Fall 09 RN. I posted what I have found so far as what we need uniform/equipment wise. Thanks and congrats to all. For those still waiting, hang in there, I know an RN who went through FCCJ a few years ago that did not find out until 6 DAYS before the program started, so there is still hope...GOOD LUCK!

My friend has 193 pts, lives in Duval county, and still has not heard anything either. So it may not be just you guys.

I am unable to find your new thread under FCCJ Fall 09 RN. Can you tell me how to get to it? Maybe I'm looking on the wrong pages, I don't know.

Nothing in my mail box today. I think my husband is more spun up over this than I am! lol Of course, I am anxious but I think I know I didn't get in since I'm not in Duval or Nassau. I should have had at least 220 points to feel comfortable but there it is, what can you do!
