Fall 2020 USF BSN Program

Hi everyone, I decided to make a post about USF’s BSN program because I hadn’t seen one already created. I just submitted my application but I don’t feel very confident, I have a 4.0 prerequisite gpa but my overall gpa is a 3.22, I am a current USF student. I hope someone can give me insight into if I have a chance or not. Good luck to everyone applying.

Same, I would've preferred in person ? did you guys receive a confirmation email from setmore yet? It says my appointment is confirmed.

I got an interview too! I scheduled for the 26th with the first interview panel (does anyone know what that means?). While I'm nervous about the virtual interview, it is actually easier for me as I live about 4-5 hours away!

I scheduled for the 24th with the first interview panel as well! I do not know what it means tho, does anyone else? Also, did you receive a confirmation email yet?

I think there’s going to be three sets of interviewers so that multiple interviews can go on at the same time. Somebody took the time slot I wanted with the first interview panel so I scheduled with the second panel but I think overall it doesn’t make a difference! I got an email confirming my appointment date and time but no e-mail with the link or login for the interview yet.

Hey everyone, how are you guys preparing for your interviews?

A couple of weeks ago I did a mock interview set up by the pre-nursing advisors. There were a few situational questions like “talk about a time where you had to work under pressure,” and then some of those hypothetical ethical ones (which always trip me up)! So I’ve been practicing some of those types of questions! I’ve also been trying to practice questions with friends over Skype to make sure I’m not too awkward in front of the camera haha
