Fall 2016 MANE Programs

Has anyone heard of a FB started for Invers fall cohort yet? I've know previous semesters started theirs fairly early!

I am officially off the waitlist at North Hennepin! I received my letter today. I need to mail it back by 4/16 so I'm going to run to the post office and overnight it in the morning! My score was 11.13, if you're keeping track.

Has anyone wait listed at Century heard anything yet?...I am on the wait list with a composite score of 11.22 and read in another blog that the scores on the wait list range from 10.94 to 11.33. I am reading people on wait list from both Inver and NHCC have been contacted, wondering about Century???

Congratulations!...My composite score at NHCC was 10.97, and 11.22 at Century. I did not make it to the wait list at NHCC, but did at Century. Do you know anyone on the wait list at Century and whether or not they have contacted people? The advisor said around mid-April- but didn't give a date, and I see other schools have notified people, so just wondering!

I have not heard anything from Century yet either The admissions person told me mid April as well, so I am thinking sometime next week. My score is an 11.8 or 12.0, depending on how they take a transfer class, and I was wait listed due to a transcript error, so I had to appeal my original denial to the program. I am so stressed out waiting to know! I did get accepted to Metro for Fall program, but Century is my first choice.

I just called Sheri Hegstom at Century. She said they would be sending letters out to people selected from the wait list (hopefully) by the end of April. She said she is right now working on "appeals" (not sure what that is referencing), once that is complete, she will know how many seats are available and be able to send letters. I asked her if the range of composite scores on the wait list was 10.94-11.33 and she said that sounds about right (but did not give exact numbers).

It's not my score that was the issue......I had an error on my transcript that we didn't catch, so they had to deny my entry to the program. I had to do the appeal thing, so I guess I am on the appeal waitlist. I figured there was only 1 waitlist, but maybe I am in a different grouping due to appeal.

Oh my goodness!...That a tough place to be-you would think if the error wasn't yours, and you would otherwise have made it in, that there would be no wait

I forgot to mention that I doubt it's a special wait list...when I spoke to Sherry today, she specifically said she was working on appeals, and would not know until she was done how many seats would be available for people on the wait list...guessing with your high score that you will be in like flynn! I however have 11.22, so debating whether or not to start studying to retake teas for June 1st application My Teas was only 75.

Century is seriously taking their sweet time! Ugh!

I called Sherry at Century yesterday. She said that they are working on some of the Appeals and once that was complete, they would know how many seats were available. She said that we could likely expect a letter if we were chosen by the end of April. I seen someone mention on one of these blogs that there was an error on their transcript comma so initially she was denied and now has to appeal that denial. Not sure what the other appeals are about or how many there are and Sherry didn't say when she would be done going through them. I'm really hoping it is soon so I can decide if I want to start studying for the teas again exclamation point
