Fall 2020 El Centro Nursing Program Applicants

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to start a new thread for Fall 2020 applicants at El Centro, since I didn't find one already here. Let's see if we can help eachother out and answer some questions for eachother. Currently, I have 35 points, but will be applying with about 40, I believe. I'm wondering if that is competitive? Also, I need to get my physical, titers, and vaccines, but don't have health insurance. Any ideas where I can get them done at a decent price? I found a website but I am not sure if they will accept stuff from there....

    CONGRATS! Which program did you apply to? The bridge or the ADN .

    Yes I posted!

    I am hoping that the COVID-19 begins to decrease enough so that classes will not be affected in the fall, I am kind of scared with what the dean said in the acceptance letter, about us not being able to start if classes cannot be taught in-person.

    Thanks for sharing with us ! That's weird how they won't start in the fall without the clinical part. I have friends in the nursing programs at TWU, UTA and TCCD and they switched to online clinical simulations. It's not ideal but it's something. Fingers crossed covid gets better but I wonder what it picks up again after the semester starts?

    I am feeling the same way. I’ve seen the virtual simulations they have had for the rest of the semester. I’m wondering the same thing, fingers crossed.

    Question - Anyone that applied to the NorthLake Location get an acceptance?

    I got my acceptance letter also. CONGRATS to everyone. I got in Mountain view as well. I think I may go with Mountain view, but I will see what happens with Covid-19 and go from there. Again CONGRATS everyone. Future nurses coming soon, despite the pandemic ?

    That’s what I am wondering! Did anyone get acceptance to Northlake?
