Hi everyone. I graduated in may 2008 and have taken the nclex exam 3 times. I first studied with kaplan, then I studied on my own, and then ATI. I have had 80 questions the first time, 250 then second, and 220 then third. I am trying my best to pick myself up and continue to remain confident but nothing is seeming to work. All I have wanted my entire life was to be a pediatric nurse. I know it is so close, but I just don't know where to go from here. I am open-minded and willing to try anything.

First of all, relax for a couple of weeks. Seriously. Your brain is full. :)
Secondly, Suzanne's Plan. In a week look at the sticky at the top of this forum. Then start.
But relax for now. You'll pass next time.

I am in the same boat too. I just found out last week that I didn't pass again after the 3rd time taking it! It is one of the most frustrating things ever! I graduated last May as well and it just seems like it is taking forever and that I am never going to be an RN!! But don't give up! We are going to pass and we are going to be great nurses!! Best of luck to you!! Keep your head up:nuke:

Hope you have had time to get over the bad feelings. When you start your preparation, study as if you haven't taken the test before, from the beginning. Don't skip over anything. Good luck.

Best to take a break to regroup. Then study as though you have never tested before. Consider reading some of the tips/facts in The Random Facts Sticky as well as studying from your reveiw book. Lots of great NCLEX study resources out there. Good luck.
