Failed Peds.......

:crying2: I'm in third term which is really challenging almost done with the nursing program and I failed Peds. I was so close to prgressing to fourth term now I will not graduate until the end of May instead of Dec. I was so ****** and mad at myself. So when doing Peds pay attention and study a little extra. Goood Luck to those in the program. Just wanted to vent:(

We all have at some point failed at something. Don't be too hard on yourself. I know you are fustrated and disappointed but here is a quote a friend told me a long time ago:

*Focus on your achievements rather than your failures. If you do find yourself thinking about how you failed then look at what you managed to do right and how you could correct what you did next time.

I hope it helps you too.:flwrhrts:

thanks alot that really did help me.

Dont let your failures get in your way. Follow your dreams, mistakes are okay as long as you learn from them.

Thanks for the advice though, Im sure plenty of us including me appreciate that.

Im sorry abour your situation. At least youre continuing with your education. Thats the most important thing. Yes, you failed but youre still going at it and thats what counts.

A good friend of mine also failed the peds term and was miserable all summer. But she made the decision to try again, and is now much more comfortable with the material and is doing better.

Good luck!

here's a quote that someone said to me when i got my GED... i am going to use it in my pinning speech next month..... "those who are true failures, only fail once. those who are successful, fail many times and continue to learn more."

keep your chin up. you will make it. use this as a learning experience and kick peds in the butt next time. good luck!

Im sorry about what happen............I know you'll be fine the next time around........I was feeling down myself....I failed my first exam in Ob peds....but I got some encouragement today from a post that I posted..........and I told myself YOU CAN DO THIS AND YOU WILL DO THIS AND SO CAN YOU.............keep your chin up....God bless.
